Ways to fight loneliness

We’ve probably all felt ‘alone in a crowd’ before. Sometimes no matter how many people I surround myself with, I still feel alone and lonely. Sometimes I’m with a loved one and feel an aching gap, like I don’t know the real them and they’ve never gotten to see the real me.

Ways to fight loneliness: Volunteering and helping others. Forgiveness of ourselves and others. Practicing ho’hoponopono. Spending quality time alone. Letting people know the real you, the real you that you are ashamed of. Getting to know the parts of you that you hide from yourself. Knowing we are ALL, here and now, worthy of connection and belonging (hat tip to Brene Brown).
